Strike For Hope 6.0

On 15th November 2019, the nursing staff of Peter Mole MAA Medicare Charity Dialysis Centre Kota Kinabalu organised "Strike For Hope 6.0" at CPS Bowl, Centre Point Kota Kinabalu and raised RM13k for their kidney patients.

Kidney Charity Run 2019

On 16th November 2019, the staffs of MAA Medicare Cheras Center organized a 3 KM KIDNEY CHARITY RUN 2019. This exciting event was to raise funds for the treatment and care of patients at our Cheras Center.
The Charity Run also highlighted the importance of living a healthy lifestyle to minimize kidney diseases.

Machine Donation by YB Kulasegaran

On 9th November 2019, YB Tuan M. Kulasegaran, Minister of Human Resources, who is also the MP for Ipoh Barat visited our Bercham centre and donated 1 Dialysis Machine.

Get Moving 4 Charity

CHKMUS MAA Medicare Kuching Dialysis Centre had organized a Get Moving 4 Charity Run,which was held on 20th of October 2019.
The objective was to raised funds for 196 kidney patients.Besides that they are giving awareness to the public about kidney disease and that they should live with a healthier lifestyle.

World Heart Day Celeberation

In conjunction with World Heart Month, our staff in MAA Medicare Charity Dialysis Centre, Seberang Perai, celebrated World Heart Day with our lovely patients.
Our staff also did the "promise box" activity with the patients.

Charity Zumba

The Charity Zumba 2019 was organized by MAA Medicare Charity Dialysis Centre Teluk Intan on 21st July 2019 at Dataran Menara Condong, Teluk Intan.
The team from 'Ratu Tari Ticer Dee The Crew' was invited to lead the zumba exercise. Around 100 participants was joined the event.
This zumba charity has earned major sponsorship from Mr. Ng Ah Leck (president), Mr. Chan Hong Kee (advisor) and Dato Alan Chuah (vice-president) of Persatuan Kebajikan Dialysis Hilir Perak.
The centre also received the sponsor of biscuits from Shoon Fatt Factory Sdn. Bhd.

Machine Donation by Datin Fathillah and Family

A big thank you to Datin Fathillah bt Alias and her family for their generous donation!
The big-hearted family donated a haemodialysis machine to our Charity Dialysis Centre in Jalan Ipoh.
Their kind contribution will ensure that many dialysis patients will receive the life supporting treatment for many years to come!

Charity Fund Booth 2.0

Charity Fund Booth 2.0 was held at MPSP Car Free Morning @ Seberang Perai! We had healthy food and drinks, a display on haemodialysis and health checkup. Goody bags were also given to shoppers and visitors who spent more than RM25.

From Sweat2Smiles 2019 by Jazzercise Malaysia – 23 March 2019

Held at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort with a special Jazzercise guest instructor from Italy, Sweat2Smiles 2019 is a charity dance fundraiser by Jazzercise Malaysia. In their fifth endeavour to raise funds for needy patients of MAA Medicare Charitable Foundation, over RM60,000 was successfully raised. These funds raised will go towards our Patients Welfare Fund (PWF) which was established with the sole purpose of identifying and supporting the hard core poor patients who cannot afford even the minimal cost of treatment and basic necessities.

Close to 300 participants enjoyed the heart-pumping workout along with a mini shopping experience with booths from sponsors and free health check-up from the medical staff at MAA Medicare.

World Kidney Day Celebrations– March 2019

World Kidney Day is a global awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of our kidneys.

With the theme of "Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere" for this year's celebrations, MAA Medicare Charitable Foundation celebrated the important day with numerous activities including a dialysis-friendly cooking demonstration, visit to The Salvation Army Children's Home and general merriment with staff and patients.

Burpees Your Heart

In conjunction of World Heart Day on September, fitness enthusiast, personal trainer and also gym owner, Alvin Netto, has successfully set another record in the Malaysia Book of Records by completing 2727 burpees in 8 hours.

MAA Medicare also has successful hit the target to raise funds for 27 needy cardiac patients with a collection of RM28,888.
